Well, this happened to my English teacher. She went to this old house in Jamaica and they always had nightmares of death there, dreaming of the person who died there. They know, because they asked! Also our teacher didn't believe in ghosts, so she turned off the lights to go to bed and she said mockingly, 'Is there anyone there?' Then a glass of water was pushed off the table after she said that and she didn't push it and she wasn't drunk, she was wide awake! Also it was at the centre of the table, far from the edge...

When they came back, their clothes were stained with black fungi or dots or something and it couldn't be washed off. It didn't even smudge, so they couldn't wear it any more. All of this was so weird!

Also I saw the shape of a  UFO one night. It couldn't have been a torch, because there was no one leaning out of the window and it couldn't have been from the sky, because there was nothing there and it the light was on the side of the wall... and it was three spotlights formed in a triangle, like a UFO! It disappeared after 15 minutes or so. I was so excited, I still don't have an explanation for it!

Last Christmas, we stayed on Norfolk Island (we have been many times before). Norfolk is an old convict island, and hauntings are always being reported.

Anyway, we stayed in a refurbished house. The house was over 100 years old, but done up really nicely.

I wont go into every deatail, because it will take to long.

On our first night, I was sleeping with my mum because we didnt want to mess up the other beds for the owners. My mum said the next morning that through the night the door slammed so loudly next to the bed, but she thought it was just the wind, because the window was open.

Anyway, the next night, I felt very odd. I'm usually a bit 'scared' in old houses and stuff because I know what can do on, but this night it was really odd I just felt so terrible. I was panicing and shut my eyes so tight so I could go to sleep fast.

On the third night, we had just come back from dinner, my mum was getting changed, and I had just been to the toilet which was down the hall (as you will soon learn was the most haunted). I was standing in the lounge, whatching the TV, when suddenly the whole hallway and bathroom started shaking, like it would when there was an earthquake. But it was just the hall and the bathroom. I asked my mum if she had felt in and she said no. This REALLY freaked me out.

On the forth night, I was in the toilet again, my mum had been with me but now was not because I was doing my business, lol. I just happened to look out the door from where my mum had been standing, and there was this white smoke there. I got terrified so I finished what I was doing and walked very quickly out, through the smoke to my mum again, but I didnt say anything. Also, after I had been on the computer that night, I caught a glimps of the lounge just before I was about to walk out, and I could have sworn there was a person running through the room.

The next day when we were on the beach I kept trying to bring up what had happened to my mum. And finally she said 'do you think the house is haunted'. I reluctantly said yes.

And she said 'you know what? I do to'. She said she had been seeing things too.

So we bought some sage and saged the house to clear it. She said we will give it one more night, if nothing better, we will leave. So that night it felt just as bad, the lights started flickering, 2 of them went out. The door slammed and you wont know what I mean, but it just had a terrible feeling, I was pertrified. I didnt even feel safe with my mum there.

Anyway, we got into bed we lay there for about 8 minutes, and finally my mum said, do you feel it? and I said yes,so she said thats it were going, something bads going to happen. She went into the kitchen and started ringing hotels, but none answerd as it was 9:30pm. I started crying because I could feel something was going to happen, as in BAD. So we got our overnight bad and left, all lights on and everything. As we walked out the front door we heard several glasses smash onto the kitchen floor.

Luckily we got a hotel 4 the night, most of the hotels on the island close @ 7:00pm. but we were lucky because this one had a bar open so we got a room.

The odd thing was the next morning all the lights had been turned off. And there were no glasses on the floor.

We told the manager of the house what had happened, and he admitted he had seen things too in it too.

You could not imagine the feeling of what it felt like. I dont even want to think about what could have happened if we had of stayed.

Once i was in my room at my mums & dads house tidying the mess me and my partner had made whilst staying there!

and i heard someone come up the stairs walk into the bathroom and the taps went on and i heard someone brushing their teeth...i didnt think nothing off it, just went about my business tidying,i was just on my way down stairs,when i walked past the bathroom and saw someone standing at the sink in the corner of my eye but i didnt reconise who it was soo i reversed and stuck my head round the corner to see who it was and no one was there! ive never ran down them stairs more fast in my life!

Yes.Actually spirits are following me.All the time.Everyday.It's very scary since im only 13.This has been accuring for the past year.One of the gosht that follow me is my 2nd cousin.He died on my 11th birthday.He watches over me nd my mom.

One night i was in my room with some of my friends.We smelled something burning nd we turned on the lights nd there was burn marks on the floor.It sorta looks like he was spelling his name.They left an hour later cuz they got spooked out.I got sooo frustrated with him nd started screaming at him cuz i could see him.He litterally threw one of my lamps off my table nd dissapeared.I know he is following me constantly......

Every time I experience anything and tell my husband about it, he dinies it, says it's 'just a mouse.'  But could a mouse make the knocking sounds I hear that started in the kitchen, then down the hallway, into the far corner of our bedroom (while we're both in bed trying to sleep) then up to my side of the bed and finally into the closet without another sound?  At the point it was on my side of the bed, I backed so far up that I was almost on top of my husband.  Of course, he slept through it all.  In this same house, about 3 months ago he and I BOTH heard a sneeze coming from the living room.  When I asked him about it recently, he said he doesn't remember hearing it!!! aaaahhh! so frustrating.  At the time, HE actually asked me if I'd heard that!!!!  So, about a week ago I heard a cough coming from the living room.  And of course, he blamed it on our 13 month old, said it was her coughing, even though her door was shut and she's has never coughed like a man since I've known her.  It also felt like something touched the back of my head, all the hair in a perfect circle raised up like I had goose bumps.  Tell me please, are there other believers out there, b/c my husband is waring me down here!!

Mine isn't quite as long lol.

A few years back I was staying at my grandparents house. I was asleep in one of the guest beds when I felt someone pushing down on my chest. I opened my eyes and there was a pair of red eyes staring back into mine. It seemed surprised that I woke up and jumped back and sort of dissolved into the air.

[Details] It was totally bald, as far as I could tell. It's skin was very hard to make out. It was almost like it was composed of the dark, but I could make out a definite shape and when it jumped back it had to duck so that it wasn't looking around in the attic. (I'm assuming that you got that is was bent over staring at me.)

That's my story hope you liked it. It's 100% true. You would probably like to know that I'm a beginner psychic (I guess you'd call it that) I'm starting to open my mind via meditation. It won't be too long before I can pick out a liar.

I've had many paranormal experiances, so I'll share my top 3 with you.

1. Just recently I was typing on my computer when I felt something playing with my hair. It was playing with my hair realy just kinda messing with it.

2. A few months ago my brother was in this computer room. He heard a male high pitched voice say "HELLO" in an annoyed kind of way. Later that night I woke up because that same voice screamed up the stairs at me. So like any other mature person I hid under my blanky till it was gone.

3. I was asleep in my room at night when I woke up. I had woken up because I heard 3 very destinct knocks. I called come in because I thought it was someone at my door. Then I remembered that I don't have doors I have plastic sliding things. Anyways I searched my room and there was nothing there.
