  1. nope. But there was one in chicago yesterday. I was terrified.

  2. Strangely enough just last year a tornado came through about 15 minutes away from my house, and I live in New York.

  3. We just had one here Thursday night. We live in North East Kansas, and a Tornado came through here Thursday night around 10:15 p.m. The sirens went off around 10:00, but we knew that a severe thunder storm was on it's way long before that. It damaged several barns, and tore off the roof of a Conoco gas station. It only lasted about 5 minutes. We got hammered by some Hail, for a couple minutes. But it rained for several hours, real heavy for about 30 minutes. The Missouri River is above flood stage right now. If it rains any more, it will probably go over the levees. I've seen several Tornadoes in my life time. Some are worse than others, but at least you usually know when to expect them, unlike Earth Quakes. They hit without warning. If it has been hot, and a Thunder Storm is heading our way, we know to keep an eye on the storm, to see if anything big is going to happen.

  4. i've seen too many to count...all different shapes and sizes....from the numerous EF-0s that just run across the field to the EF-5 that destroyed Greensburg, KS....its just common place for me...then again since im a storm spotter/chaser in western kansas i tend to get myself into those situations.....they can be intimidating but they're still able to leave a person in awe.

  5. I have- on TV. Scary.
