Have you ever seen a tornado?

What was it like? I would love to see one someday.

i was in the second grade, at the end of the school day, when the sky was starting to turn green and it started to rain and hail outside..we did have some watches out for our county tho..and the sirens started to go of and as we were on are way into our shelter..we looked out the window an saw this massive tornado about a mile away...thank the lord it lifted before it reached us...

Yes, a few times.  My first confirmed sighting was during a chase in western Oklahoma.  I have seen a few others in western Nebraska as well.  Very interesting to see the myriad size and shapes to them.

Last year it was the end of the school day and when I walked outside it was rainin and the sky was turning green! There were tons of tornado warnings and even a sighting in the town next to mine! I get picked up from school, so me and my neighbors ran to the car and my mom drove home. When we pulled into the driveway, it started to hail really hard! We all ran into the house and went into my basement. Turns out everyone in my school had to go into the library because there was a funnel cloud above the school. That was probably the scariest experience of my life!
