Have you ever seen an American Eagle?

I live in Louisville, KY. We are located on the Ohio Rive. We have Bald Eagles along the river in the winter time. Also I was at Lake Cumberland one time. We had a cabin that the back had a deck that looked out over the Lake. We were out there after breakfast drinking coffee and getting our minds right for fishing and a pair of eagles flew not ten foot away from the edge of the deck on their way to the lake. Pretty spectacular for me.

I was out fishing with a friend of mine who lives on a private lake. There are eagles that live on that lake. I have witnessed them diving and coming up with big fish, but those are not Bald Eagles.

Yes, but only at the zoo.  They are such majestic creatures!

Yes, both a bald eagle and a golden eagle in the wild. The bald eagle was huge!  It's hard to comprehend a bird that big when all you've seen is a canary or finch.  It's obvious that such a majestic bird would become our nation's symbol once you've seen one soar in the sky (rather than the turkey, LOL).

Do you mean a Bald Eagle...there is no such species as an American Eagle.  Yes, I have seen Bald Eagles many times.

Yes, we had a nesting pair at the lake near where I live.

Yes, in their nests too. At the Seney National Wildlife Preserve in the U.P. of Michigan.

at least 20-30 wild and a 10-20 in a zoo or during a bird show (not on tv)
