Have you ever seen anything like this?

My friend and I and a neighbor from across the street were sitting out on the front porch smoking cigarettes and chatting. One of my friend's best friends passed away a little over a month ago.

We had been talking about her in a good way for about 20 minutes. My friend sitting to the left of me asked if we saw this green/blue/purple light (not exactly round, but colored kind of like the aurora screensaver on windows vista). Both the neighbor and I DID!

It moved from the sky across the top of the house directly across the street, we thought it was high in the sky....but then it floated down in front of the trees...so it was CLOSE! It appeared to float onto the back porch of the house diagonally across the street from mine. Of course at that point we could no longer see it. The whole experience for my friend who first saw the orb or whatever it was lasted about 5 minutes or so. At first, she thought something was in her eye, but she saw it still moving and realized it wasn't. The neighbor and I watched it fall from the sky for at least a minute or 2.

Has anyone ever REALLY seen anything like this before in person? I don't want to hear about all of the orbs on camera. I was in the "ghosthounds," a large paranormal group and this was much stronger than any orb or supposed orb I have seen in pictures or on my own digital images. This was much brighter and again moved much like the aurora screensaver on Vista????

  1. no

  2. Closest thing to that I've seen is a fireworks show.

  3. where do you live. the military has a lot of aircraft that we haven't even seen.  like back in the 50's, they thought they saw one out in Roswell. But it turned out to be the stealth fighter, that we just found out about 26 years ago.  So don't trouble your young mind.  At least we know where our taxes are going...

    God bless and protect you...

  4. One night during a thunderstorm I saw a "spirit/ghost" staring at me in the dark for a split second during a lightning flash. Can I logically conclude any preconceived misconception from this experience without further understanding of the event? No. There are many explanations for this. Can any of them be proved? No.

  5. I'm not going to comment on any supernatural or metaphysical aspects of your story, as I do not believe in such things, but I will say that what you describe sounds reminiscent of "ball lightning."

  6. Actually I did see something that looked exactly like what you described, a very long time ago, when my best friend was shot and killed by his own brother. A day later we were on the playground (5th grade) me and my other friend saw a multicolored flashing light moving rapidly through the sky. My thought at the time was that it was an angel taking my friend to heaven. (I know better now now though)

    Thanks for rekindling the past.

  7. I can tell you one thing: It wasnt god and had nothing to do with religion.
