Well, no, but I have found this information that will let you summon one:

Djinn Summoning

1. Place a silver of Aloes wood and some dust from a crossroads, ruin, or cemetary into a metal flask.

2. Place the flask onto a square of red silk or felt together with a cleaned sheeps shoulder blade bone.

3. Wrap up the bundle and pierce it with seven silver or bone needles, saying "I knock on earths door to

summon the Djinn".

4. Leave the bundle at a place Djinn are likely to congregate and wait for a response.

I have heard a number of people say the shadow man experience is djinn. They are supposed to be evil demonic creatures, although the djinn believers hate to call them demons for some reason.

On a personal level can't say that I have, if you mean djin as depicted in Arabic mythology.  There is an excellent novel that utilises Djin in a contemporay context, however.  It is Declare by Tim Powers.  Highly recommended.

Yes. They think they are quite tricky --- but they are no different than humans just they never had bodies.

One of the b******s actually thought they could "get in" my body but got stuck in my throat...fortunately I have somebody who was able to remove it; the only way they got past him was because NOBODY could be that stupid to mess with my Demon...but apparently I was wrong; somebody *WAS* that stupid.
