Have you ever seen somebody do this before?

whenever my friend makes a cup of tea,coffee,or soup,he drinks it with the spool still inside the cup

As long as he doesn't poke himself in the eye with the spoon's handle, it sounds okay to me.

my uncle used to take the coffee and pour it on his saucer and drink it out of that till it cooled off. it is called saucered and blowed in the south.

Well.. i'm drinking my coffee right now and YES, i do use the spoon inside my cup right now..  it's just a hobby because when we were young-- we enjoyed eating and drinking beverages prepared by our carers using our small spoons or teaspoons..

sometimes.. the spoon is just inside the cup although i don't use it.. for some reason i think-- i might need it later to stir my drink or soup again or just a plain HObby.. it is how i grew up.. i've always had a spoon inside a bowl, cup and dish.. even when i cook!! I USE A SPOON INSTEAD..

It is not a weird behavior.. don't worry..

I do that too, well sometime. Cant really give you an answer as to why.

You mean the spoon? I do it all the time because sometimes I drink from the spoon. I used to do it as a little kid with chocolate milk so it was more like a treat and lasted longer. Now I guess it's just a comfort thing.
