Have you ever seen what it looks like when someones eye ball pops out of their eye socket?

  1. My eye can pop out.  But, it is a prosthetic eye.

The eye is held into the socket by a pretty sophisticated musculature plus the conjuctiva (the clear covering on the eye and over the white part, or sclera).  Behind the eye is the optic nerve and blood vessels, which is probably what you're thinking of.  It's actually virtually impossible to pop an eye out of it's socket without severing all the muscles.

  3. those connect to the pupils and go to the brain to send the image the pupil is seeing to the brain

    also to support the eye socket
