I would call it in Olympic terms..."Synchronized Cycling". It's fun but you have to really stay with it or it just might throw you off. lol..."East side, West side, all around the town....." What about you? Have you and your spouse, family member or friend tried it?

  1. Our hometown had one at a local gas station they rented for 50 cents an hour and we use to have such fun!  Thanks for the memories!

  2. As a child we rode bicycles around Mackinac Island. They were all two seaters or as we called them "tandem" bicycles. The one in front does most of the work, but once started when the second one picks up, rides much easier. They were alot of fun.

  3. You mean like a tandem bike?  Yes, my best friend used to have one.  It even had a baby seat on the back so we would take her little sister for rides.

  4. never tried it .sounds like fun .

  5. Tandem Bikes?  I've used them a few times.  They can be very entertaining.  Yes, they take a little bit to get used to, but enjoyable none-the-less.

  6. Sure was more fun than riding a bicycle built for two alone!

  7. Never tried it but I would love to!

  8. No. We each prefer different models (race vs. hybrid) and have our own bikes.

  9. Our neighbor has one and my hubby and I tried it. Pedaling together took more effort than I thought that it would. I think I'd rather stick to my single person bike.

  10. Did try it once with a friend but laughed so hard we gave up at the next block ! !

  11. yes i have and you are right -- it does take team work!!! while biking across iowa i saw bikes built for four -- i could not ride because there was a 150 pound weight limit per rider!!!!
