It's bad luck if you are a kid and it belongs to your Mom. It is bad luck if it belongs to somebody else and they get mad. But seriously there is nothing to the idea of bad luck. Things happen, good and bad. In the middle ages mirrors were thought to reflect the soul and if a mirror was broken, the soul was broken or something. It was similar to the fact that some Native Americans did not want a photograph taken, it stole the spirit. But unless you get in trouble or get cut with the broken glass, it is not bad luck.

My brother shattered an 8 foot tall mirror in his girlfriends salon last week while he was attempting to move it. It was bad luck for him, because the glass from it fell on his wrist and sliced through the sheath, the muscle, part way through a tendon, and a vein on his arm. The blood was squirting out of his arm until the paramedics arrived. True story.

Yes, I have broken many mirrors, everything from pocket mirrors, hand held mirrors, and mirrors that hang on a wall....and happy to say haven't had bad luck yet. Though now that I have typed this I will have probably jinxed myself

I don't believe in luck...

I believe that if YOU believe in good & bad luck than your "luck" is going to be what you anticipate it to be.

Exmp: You break a mirror, you fear bad luck will come to you, sub consciously you draw in bad luck, it prooves your luck theory!

I believe that if you live life waiting for luck to make life what you want it then chances are nothing will happen, you waste your life away waiting for luck to kick in.

Life is what YOU make it, you can't rely on an outside source to give you what you want.

To answer your question, yes i have broken a mirror, amy mirrors actually. Nothing out of the ordinary happened!

Ive shattered quite a few, im so clumbsy im always dropping them!

I didnt get bad luck, how would you know if u did really?

TBH i jsut think that a mirror isnt gonna know youve smashed it and come back reincarnated and give you bad luck.

This is no offence to anyone that does believe it, it is jsut my personal experience.
