As long as you don't wear it for more than eight hours, it doesn't matter if you're awake or asleep.

ive never slept IN a tampon..

But ive slept WITH a tampon IN ME..

i actualy sleep with tampons in me all the time during my period i NEVER use pads..

i do all the time.

you'd have to leave it in for days to get tss.

though tss is real it is very rare and hard to contract.

people exaggerated tss as a way to ward off girls from inserting something in their vaginas as they saw it inappropriate.

I think that would be impossible. I couldn't fit in a tampon. I'm sure it would be comfortable though.

READ THE INSERT IN THE TAMPON BOX! It says that you can keep a tampon in for no longer than eight hours at a time. If you usually sleep for longer than eight hours, use a pad. If you are afraid that you might "leak" with a tampon, use panty liners.

Yeah, I sleep with them in all the time. Pop it in right before going to sleep, set the alarm for eight hours later, get up and change it.

ya i have..i do mostly. once i had to sleep in it then leave it in for about 10 hours that day and im still ok and didnt get sick.

Yes i have..but i wouldnt reccomend doing that...after awhile i would get really bad stumuch cramps...just make sure you change them 4-6 hours...no longer then 8.

yes and it the most uncomfortable thing in the world to do. I would not do it again.

I'm sure it must be comfortable if it's a cotton one. But who's that small? And hopefully it weren't in use/used...
