Hey "wendy g", why aren't the first letter of your name and your last name initial capitalize?

  1. Yes, I used to have a rather nice Glock pistol and an Enfield sniper rifle. WW2 vintage, a Heckler and Koch PSG1 and a Sauer that took NATO rounds.

    Eventually sold them all when the Australian government did one of it's many crackdowns on firearms, plus I was unlikely to get a licence to hold the weapons anyway because they were considered too specialised.

    Edit--If you mean why aren't they capitalizED, it's because I chose not to. I made a conscious decision not to capitalize my name. It was kind of a statement. Of course, I know that proper names are supposed to be capitalizED.

    The question is, do YOU know  that you are murdering the English language every time you make a post, and do you DO IT ON PURPOSE? If so ...why?

    EDIT-Yes, you're right, Guns. You've caught me. I know all of the other rules of grammar well enough to have majored in English in college, but I never knew that I should capitalize my name until just now. Thank you so much for telling me. I always wondered why my professors always circled my name in red on my otherwise unmarked papers.

    Now, why is it that YOU seem to know NONE of the rules of grammar, EXCEPT that proper names should be capitalized?

    EDIT-I do know the rules. I've never criticized your capitalization, have I?

    And aren't you being a bit hypocritical, lecturing me about criticizing, when your grammar (no "s," dear) would make Tonto cringe?

  17. No. I shot one once! It hurt my shoulder:) I used to have a BB Gun that didn't have the back that you put against your shoulder. It was my older brothers and they gave it to me. I shot a sparrow and cried. I never killed an animal again!
