not me personally but one of my best friends did that years ago.  She was good friends with this guy she knew for a long time.  They ended up having s*x together and afterwards they both realized it wouldnt work out . It just felt wierd.  They are still best friends to this day!  They are completely plutonic and are both married and continue to hang out even together with all their spouses.  I think it can work out depends on the people and circumstances.  It wont work if one person has feelings.  In their case, they both felt the same way so it was cool.  HOpe this helped.
