  1. You can often talk yourself out of a ticket no matter what kind of car you are driving.  Have your documents in your hand before the officer asks for them.  Be very polite.  When he gets up to your window say "Good morning, officer" or whatever.  Don't ask him, "What did I do" or "Why did you stop me", etc.  Usually you know and he/she knows that you know.  Don't be a smart-as*.  If you know you were speeding (or whatever) don't deny it, but don't confirm it too much ... ie. don't say, "I knew I was going 80 MPH" or whatever.  Just let him/her tell you what you did wrong.  Regardless of what anyone here says about bikinies, etc. don't believe that would work.  It may, in fact, get him pisse* off and ensure you get a ticket.  That was tried on me more than once and I was very insulted that someone would think I could be influenced by that.  Don't do any name-dropping ("My uncle is a police officer") or claim membership in a police fraternal organization (i.e. you obtained a window 'sticker' from such an organization).  Apologize, say something to the effect that you didn't realize you were going that fast and that you will be much more careful in the future, etc.  That's BS, but it might still work.  Don't say something stupid like "I never speed" or "I've never speeded before", etc.  Of course non of this will matter if he goes back to the cruiser to check out  your dirving record and sees that you have been charged with speeding 5 times in the last year.  Tilt!  Anyway, your goal is to convince him that a verbal warning will be enough to stop you from speeding or at the least he will drop the MPH down considerably.  Try to follow this advice and it will probably work.  Good luck!!

  2. Not once it was issued.  Twice I was stopped for speeding and issued a warning instead when it was obvious I was a large white sober male with my wife along.  Once I was going about 7 mph over the speed limit of 55 on a long straight wooded road on Christmas eve in a rented car on Christmas eve going to in-laws in the next state and I apologized immediately saying I had noticed I was creeping faster.  In the other case I was driving a rented RV and was noticed because I was wandering over the line and clocked over 50 in a 45 zone, but the speed limit had just changed and I explained about just getting used to the vehicle and missed slowing down.

  3. My first girlfriend got out of a ticket on the way to Santa Cruz doing 80mph. When she was pulled over, the officer gave her a break because she was wearing a Yellow Polka Dot bikini and she had a 34DD chest.

    TRUE STORY!

Years later I was in a rental car in Salt Lake City Utah doing about 85MPH on the highway on a Saturday morning. When the officer pulled me over, i told him that I was distracted by the beautiful mountain range that was off to the left. He thanked me for the complement to their scenery and told me to slow down, pay attention and drive safely!

  4. Never!!!  BMW.

  5. Yes, I've only got pulled over twice, but both I did.

Once I was in my old car. (2007 monte carlo)

The last was in my 08 Infiniti G37 6 speed.

  6. No, I was in a Volvo.  My only speeding ticket in my life.  I've been driving for close to 40 years.

  7. Yes I did, I was in an old classic car and the cop kept commenting on how nice it was and asking me Q's about it.

  8. If you're a lady show the melons and smile pretty and you have about A 50-50 chance of getting out of a ticket.  If you have a short skirt on your odds go up to 75 percent.  If you offer up your phone number you'll never see a ticket, unless of course a lady cops stops you ... then being pretty can sometimes work in your favor as well.
