Please elaborate what for? Did you win? And if yes, did you win by settling out of court or after a good old slugfest in court?

  1. Yes... a girl who worked for me.  No... the judge played favorites cuz she played the "mental illness" card on me.

Another time, a customer for work done by me.  No... the judge felt that their "damages" and my "lack of payment" equaled themselves out... called it a draw, but really it was a loss for me.

I hate that judge.  He has something against me, I swear!  I keep trying to vote him OUT of office.  I work at a pizza place as a cook, and once had an order for a pizza for his home.  I was sorely tempted to SPIT on the pizza, but I'm better than that, and I'm better than him.

    Have a polite day.

  2. I didn't.  My father did.  Won't go into details, but he was illegally fired.  I know we say we want to take people to court and sue them.  Well, that lawsuit was in court for 3 YEARS.  Love our judicial system.  My father did win though.  The people who fired him were incompetent.  So was their lawyer.

  3. No.  I think that the American Legal System is completely overrun with lawsuits.  Everyone wants to sue everyone for something.  People sue people for sometimes reasons that could be settled in small claims court.  People in general have become bitter and greedy and money hungry.  I have been in a couple of situations where I could have sued and didn't.  I thought first about what it would have done to the people I was suing....it would have destroyed their lives and they would have lost everything they had worked their entire lives for.

Life is based on a thing called Karma.  If you do good it comes back good.  If you do bad it comes back bad.  It is much easier to go out and get an education or go out and get a job and make money in an honest and correct way.

    Peace & Love  :)

  4. Yes, but it was settled in court.  The person hit me with her van while I was in crosswalk and it broke my leg.  She had minimal insurance I got much less than the hospital bills actually were.

  5. Yes, I sued someone. And there are times when you should sue.  Thank God we have a judicial system whereby we can sue.  I agree that there are those who misuse the system and I also know there were times when I could have sued and didn't  but when my life and the life of my child was involved, I felt I had a right to sue this company.  I was turning down a street where a large truck (Apple picker) was in motion and the driver had lost control of the bucket. He came down hard on the top of my car and dent it hitting my head and crushing the inside of the car, pushing my neck, head and shoulders in a crunched position.  There was no warning about any street repairs, no one was standing out to warn drivers or anything. The vehicle was crushed so hard it broke windows in my car and everything.  It took about 3 years for the lawsuit to come to trial - and of course, they wanted to settle out of court which would have only paid my medical bills and repairs.  I waited it out for a jury trial and won.
