  1. Yes and I have interacted with what most people would feel is the 'bottom' of society. I walked away from the life I was given and went to live among those my parents had looked down upon. Even when I was young, I was a sociologist. Kinda strange, don't you think?

  4. I met a homeless woman that lived in a subway station in New York City. Her name was Alyne.  I bought her a sandwich and bottle of water and didn't really expect to have her speak with me.  She was truly very kind and had a story to tell. I have realized that once you hear a person's story, there's no room to criticize or judge anyone anymore.  It was a very eye opening experience, and I will never, ever forget her.

  5. Most homeless people are mentally ill or have serious alchohol or drug addiction. It is best not to give them any money because they will use the money to feed their addictions. I dont talk to homeless people.
