We are thinking of taking the kids on the Sovereign of the Seas ship on Dec. 10. I've looked into their kids program and it seems exciting. My little boy will be 8. My little girl will be 10. My daughter has Autism, but is high functioning.

I am just curious to see others cruise experience with their children. Would you repeat the experience??

Thanks in Advance.

  1. Been on a few RC cruises.  They are great and their kids program is pretty cool.  Hope you have a wonderful time!!!

  2. did it last june and it was a ton of fun my children were teens so they didnt do the kids program but i checked it out and it seems fun. Soverign is a great family ship and has tons to do. bahamas are a whole lot of fun and you should do the kids program on shore when you get to coco cay it has a bunch of huge inflatable slides and water things to do. Hpoe you do it and have fun!

  3. We have taken our 2 daughters on the Disney cruise, one Royal Caribbean and 2 Carnival cruises.

They ranked the RC cruise at the bottom of the list.

They prefer the Carnival cruise line.  The 24 hour pizzeria and ice cream wins them over plus Carnival does more for the kids as far as allowing them access to places before "adult time".  They designate certain discos for the kids up until 10:00 pm.

Carnival was much more flexible in the dining room about my oldest daughter's picky eating habits.

We started taking them on cruises with us with they were barely 5 and 7.  Now, we go at least once a year.

  4. sounds fun :) i am sure you guys will have a nice and trouble free time. i dont think i remember my experiences. but im sure it will be ok dont worry... after all it is a cruise NO NEED TO WORRY :D lol i hope u guys have lots and lots of fun. take care and byee <3
