Yes. My husband tested water for a living at the time.  We have owned an R.O. unit ever since.  Our fridge icemaker and water dispenser is also hooked up to R.O.

I am a Plumbing Apprentice and look forward to learning more about water hardness and ph levels as these are both related to what I could wind up doing from time to time.

I've also found myself wanting to learn how to test water with a kit to see how it is where I live and how it is at other people's homes.

I think the water where I live is hard as it seems to take the body oil off during showers.
