i just want to be spontanious, take my i-pod and get on a plane and just go wherever! i think the plane journey would be enough, even if i never went anywhere and just went in a full cirlce, it would be so amazing and i long to do this :)

Oh my god... yes! I would love to do that. In the good old days of air travel, you could just go to the check-in counter, buy a cheep ticket and go somewhere fun with great service. Ahh yes, the good-ol days. (Sigh) Too bad we can't have that now.  Doing this would be so much fun. You know, someone should make a movie about this. Get on a plane going to a random place, and tape the adventures that they have there. Would be fun.

It's a great daydream.

But the reality is... I don't carry my passport with me at all times, so it would have to be a domestic flight.  And I already travel enough domestically.  So it's hardly worth jumping on a flight to "anywhere" domestically.

Which answers your "why".

But yeah... it would be great to wheel my suitcase out to the airport right now and jump on a flight to somewhere.  I love to travel.

Oh well.  I'll just have to wait until next week -- when I'm flying out for a weekend away interstate.

Seriously, though, it's a lovely dream, but in reality, most people have too many matters in life that need to be dealt with first, and far too little money to make it happen.

But it is one of the best daydreams out there, and can be a great inspiration for a "planned" trip later on...
