I think possibly one third of the current inhabitants of Ireland are descendants of Brian Boru.  It is also possible that you may be descended from some English, French, or German royal or princely family.

Apparently ( and I don't really place much stock in this) but if the toe that is next to your big toe is LONGER than your big toes .. IT is MEANT to mean that you have royal blood ..

BUT that could be an old wife's tale

But trace us back far enough and who knows what you may find.....

According to our preliminary genealogy, we actually have several in the family going back quite a long ways.  But I'm not putting all my peas in that basket yet--I've only got things confirmed back to the 1500's so far.

Yes several my Grandmother(father side)her aunt was Charlotte de Paris(de Bourbon French royalty) and of other sides straight to Habsburg (Austria)and di Olivera(Portugal).

My husband is a Murphy oldest ancestors of Ireland of house Ulster.
