Remember how they did this in "Close Encounters" with the aliens? Do you think it's possible to connect in that way with the spirits? I don't mean in the exact same way..but through all kinds of music. Maybe in playing music from their time period....it could draw them to us? Have you ever felt a "presence" when doing this?

  1. yes its  a way to contact the Platonist realm amoungst others

  2. Music was included in the "Philip Experiment" (link below) as part of the seance sessions to get "Philip" to appear or respond they would play music from his time period.

Musical clips have also been used in some Ganzfeld experiments (link below) although with less success than visual targets. Of course the subjects were not selected on the basis of being mostly auditory learners which I suspect would increase the success rate with music targets.

Also, many Native American traditions use music to create energy/power/magic as part of connecting with spirits.

  3. No.

The first step to is to demonstrate spirits even exist in the first place.

Any experiments on how they react to external stimuli would have to come after that.

  4. no

  5. They communicate with us through music sometimes so I guess it could work the other way around. Never tried it though.

  6. As a child of two or three  I would walk (toddle) over to the window of my bedroom every morning and "listen" to music. As I recall it was piano  music, It was there for the asking each and every morning. Like clock-work, I  would listen for what I would guess was about five minutes before continuing on with my day, I would listen intently until it faded, that was my signal to walk away from  the window. To this day I do not know where it came from. I called it "The Musician from the Far Off Land".

When my father died, I believe it was three days later, the piano in the front hall resounded with a series of 5 notes. The lid was closed. There were 2 other people to hear this with me. I could not recognize a tune, so I immediately set out to translate it into numbers, or letters (from the numbers) , it made no sense. All of these years later I am thinking it was a piece of a tune he used to play ..."I Love You" ... but it has been so many years, I no longer recall what the notes were, so that I could confirm this.
