I saw this movie, "21" about MIT students who play Blackjack, and count cards. I'm just wondering if you have tried it. If you have, tell me about it.--How difficult it was, or how fun it was, or, ya know, just stuff.

  1. The simple methods are not all that difficult.  I've tried keeping track with multiple decks at home.  The trick is keeping track of all the cards from 3-6 players hands with the dealer removing cards very quickly while acting casual.  The casino also keeps count and if they see you altering your bets based on the count, they will get you.

  2. It's not as hard as you might think, in fact there are several books on how to simplify counting cards. Here is the important thing, DO NOT get caught doing it. Casinos really do not like card counters.

  3. It's not easy to keep an accurate count, takes a lot of practice. Counting cards does not guarantee you will win. It's an approximation that you have an advantage. You can loose a ton of money counting cards. It takes a lot of discipline also. The bottom line is that, if you spent all that time learning how to do that, the casinos make it so you can't use it or very difficult for you to do that, why waste the time learning?  Winning is always fun, counting or not. Loosing is always bad, counting or not.

  4. It is hard when u first figure it out but it becomes much easier to do once u kno how and u practice i play wit my friends all the time & they still dont kno that i do it
