Have you ever used an Ouiji Board before?

If so, what are your experiences with the board?

I used the ouija board a number of times years ago and nothing happened.  Nothing happened when my friends used the ouija board.  The ouija board is just a game that you can buy in most toy stores and department stores, an ordinary piece of wood or plastic or cardboard.  It is meant for two or more players so it will not work very well if you try to use it alone.  It has no supernatural powers.  The people using the ouija board make it work through ideomotor movement.  It plays on your mind and imagination and your susceptibilities and beliefs and fears.  It can be scary because the imagination is a powerful thing, and can make you believe just about anything.  Here are a couple of links that discuss ouija boards and how to use them.

my friend Kaitlyn used one at her boyfriends house. there was a story that people had told her boyfriends family about a man that killed himself in the basement.  the family had suspicions that something strange was going on in the house.   unexplained noises and etc... so kaitlyns boyfriend rob and some of his friends had suggested an ouiji board.  they actually were doin it mostly in a joking sense, because all of them were skeptics and didnt believe in that sort of thing.  so they went down in the basement (about 6 people) and they started to use the ouiji board by asking it questions about the man who lived in the house.  (the house was about 100 years old)  the board wouldnt say anything at first, so they started asking yes and no questions and it started to answer.  it knew everything my friends asked to a T.  this peticular spirit was picking at my friends, and basically stalking my friend and her boyfriend to the point that it knew when and where they had s*x last.  my friend was very frightened and scared and begged her boyfriend and his friends to stop.  but they asked it one last question, what it's name was..then it spelled out s-t-a-r-k-s.  they found out at a later date that the name it gave, was the man that killed himself in the house's last name.. i kno that this is true, my friend kaitlyn does not exagerate or lie.  so the whole thing is just freaky!! be that as it may i would still like to try it myself sometime..but i hear that it opens a portal to h**l in your house.. Oh my gosh yes!!! Well first we were talking to it and asked "where are you?" and it said under the bed (which was where I was). Then we asked another question but it said it won't answer until I leave (I left but then came back). I don't really remember the rest, but it was creepy. But, then my friends said they were the one's moving the thing.

I have used one.  I think it is funny when people say things like "Dark Spiritual Paraphernalia" about Ouiji Boards.  You would think the board was forged from brimstone by the Devil himself, the way these guys talk.  It is a frickin' game, made by Parker Brothers!  Get over it, will ya?

Played it 45 years ago as a teenager of 17, said I would marry a man named Franklin from Indiana.  Where is he?  I'm still waiting.  It's just a board game, nothing to worry about.  No body's ever been harmed by it, or the manufacturer would have been sued by now.

Yes. We were 13 and it pinned my girlfriend up against the wall. We never played again. Be careful.

I wouldn't touch one with a 100 foot pole. Don't mess with the occult and dark spiritual paraphernalia. You may be inviting things into your life you wish you never have. Sure some people have jokingly used it but usually also used it incorrectly so they seem untouched by it.

hi. i wouldn't use a Ouija board. they are demonic devices that can unleash spirits into the human world. when these boards are activated you can communicate with them verbally and physically.

once my sisters were playing with one. they asked the spirit if it was there and the ghost then knocked a picture of jesus of the wall where they were standing. the Ouija board then moved to yes.
