Have you ever used depends while in the hospital?

My MIL (L&D) nurse said that I may want to buy Depends for the hospital stay. I hemorrhaged with my first baby and just bled a lot in general. I feel kind of weird about using Depends, so I want to know what other mothers find helpful.

go for it, they're alot more comfortable than the disposable fishnet panties and pads they have at the hospital. depends are just absorbant disposable panties. I had a couple other moms suggest it to me too. If you feel weird about buying them in the store you can order them online from drugstore.com

Oh yeah....they are better than using the pads.  You can just get the pull up underwear kind...they aren't plastic so they are comfortable to wear

I didnt use them because my nurse gave me plenty of those uncomfortable "matress" pads as I call them..lol..But I've heard of alot of women preferring Depends rather than those huge pads.
