Whats it like? Have you ever been there or live there?

I've visited Lisbon and it's outskirts.  It was a four week stay and I totally loved it.  Lisbon it's by far my favorite city of all the ones I have previously visited. It has a wonderful weather, very nice people, delicious food.  It is indeed very hilly with beautiful cobblestone streets.  There are many museums, amazing parks, the castle of St. George, the area of Belem with it's beautiful monuments (tower of Belem, Monument of the discoverers facing the Tagus River, Mosteiro dos Jeronimos, etc).

Nightlife it's also very good. As well as public transportation.

There are nice beaches like Cascais very nearby and I also recommend Sintra.  You can take a train there from Lisbon's EntreCampo Metro Station, I also hear you can take it from the city center and you are there in about 35 minutes.  Sintra it's amazing with it's beautiful palaces and castle.  The scenery it's breath taking.

Oh, and if you go don't forget to try "pasteis de belem".  Custard pastries made in heaven.

There are many more things I could tell you, but I promise that the best thing to do it's to just get there with a basic idea and start discovering everything by yourself.  You won't regret it. Walk as much as you can and don't forget to take very comfortable shoes.

I lived in Libson and it's nice, pretty expensive, and has alot of hills! Let me tell you it's also very beautiful! I recommend anyone to go there, and also take a visit in Southern Portugal, very beautiful ocean view!

I love to hear these things about Portugal. It makes me even more proud.

I live in Lisbon and I've visited lots of other cities in here, they are all very beautiful, but each one it's diferent in their own away. I can't pick one. But Lisbon is just really pretty.
