What do you know about Constanta of Romania

I'll go to Constanta for business trip next saturday.

I want to take my proffesion photograph machine but I don't know anything about there.Is it safe city or not.

Are there good places to take good photos?

What do you think about that business trip plan?

Should I take my profession machine or basic digital machine?

The best things about Constanta are the resort towns on the Black Sea.  School is out so the beaches are filled with people, lots of TV networks put on free concerts by popular bands and it is just a lot of fun.  Constanta proper is a very cool older city that actually has some Ottoman influenced architecture and lots of history.  As always, I would keep an eye on your valued possessions such as expensive cameras, passports, etc...but I have never had problems and I have traveled through lots of big cities in Romania.  If you do not know the language and look like a tourist, I would be careful with your things and money exchanging (only do it in a shop, not on the street like many of the locals).  But if you are there on business, I would request from the company you are visiting to provide an intern or assistant in that company to serve as a tour guide for the first day of your trip.  They can show you the more interesting things and if you need to shop or do things in town, they can speak for you if you do not speak Romanian.
