  1. I walk  to and from work ..... 3 miles each way, so 27 miles a week.

    (Friday is pub night of course, so a walk around the corner, then beer scooter home!)


  2. I think the distance from my house to central Cambridge is about a mile....I try to walk in to the centre of town and back most days. As for walking *more* than a mile, the furthest I can remember walking is about 5 miles.

  12. Yeah, times on a treadmill and times that my parents forgot to pick me up. One of them was voluntary and I can't just sit around in a snowstorm after my store closed when I was 17. so I walked for 5 miles down a highway until I found a restaurant to meet them at. I do it but I really don't like walking, but it really is great for you.

  16. I walk 1.25 miles every morning from my house to the bus stop.  Great excersize!  I've lost about 50 lbs so far.
