Have you ever went to an amusement park and bailed after only a couple hours?

I did, today. I took the family to Knott's Berry Farm and we stayed for a meer 2 hours. The heat was unbearable and I when I looked at my wife and 7 year old son they both looked exhausted. We brought gallon of water and ate but by the time 4pm rolled around we could not handle it anymore.

I feel like it was a waste of money but I had to get out of there. Anyone else have a situation like this?

  1. Yea six flags my dad was exausted its ucked we had to leave early but i tw as still fun

  2. I've done it several times. That's what's nice about a season pass. I know here at Six Flags it pays for itself in two visits, and if you don't feel like staying long, you don't have to feel like you wasted your money, cause you can go back another day.

  3. yeah i have haha. everyone has, i hate too hot weather and some amusement parks arent that great. Some are just a waste of money, you wasted your money but what could you do? whats the point of staying if you are not having any fun.

  4. Yes, and its OK under those conditions of heat. Also I 've done it on a basis of the park just didn't appeal to the whole family after going in the water park in Concord Ca.

WOW! some girl started her cycle on the water slide and it made the water park look like the plague when the water turned into blood and lastly we had a Red Sea encounter. LOL:)

  5. Yup. I did that just last week at Great America. It was a deserted there. There were no lines!! But, it was super boring because no one was there... how ironic is that?

  6. Yep, Cedar Point, it sucked.

  7. My dad and I went to Kings Island and were only there for about 4 hours when I started to get a very bad stomach ache, to the point where I could hardly walk, so we left. I was very sick for the next few days, it turns out I had gotten the stomach flu.

  8. Please use proper grammar. It should be stated "have you ever gone" not "have you ever went".

    Thanks

  9. Oh yes! Last summer I took my little brother (he is 6, I'm 21) to six flags. We live in Texas and it was awful. The black asphalt made it like 120 degrees outside. We stayed hydrated, but with all of the people there, neither of us wanted to deal with it. We left after waiting in line over an hour for a ride. We were there a grand total of about 2.5 hours. Ah...horrible. No six flags in the summertime.
