Have you ever won any cash on an ITV, channel 4 etc competition?

Question

For instance competitions on programs like loose women, golden balls, richard and judy etc...

Is it just me or do they ALL just make up a random name like 'gemma herbert' or something like that and claim that they won the prize?

Its my conspiracy theory, and it would be a shame if its true, so im asking...have you personally ever won any money on a competition like this? or know someone who has?

I think the big programs like ITV are not a scam because there manager companies or what ever will be keeping a close eye, also they already have a lot of money, why would they want to scam anyone for £1?

yes........i won golden balls when me and this other person decided to split so we both shared the accumulated jackpot total of £20,000 going home with £10, 000.

No I haven`t but there is two main reasons.

1) I don`t do phone-ins.

2) I don`t work for any of those companies

I was on family fortunes, instead of the prizes we won on the show, we were actually given Argos vouchers to the same value of the prize..bit disappointing really but seems t v is in the habit of fooling its audience

I have not known anyone winning money like that.

Its all a scam because when you phone in you are charged between £1 - £1.50 per minute.So in fact we are paying them and then they choose their own winners.

No an neither has anyone else, its all a con in my opinion. Look they preselect the winners, sometimes before the phonelines have closed, source? Its happened before.

i have won  on  brainteaser ,quiz call and several other quiz shows. they are genuine. they do not make up names. try it. you might be pleasantly surprised when you win.
