  1. one of my friends dad won the lottery. He won like $1,000,000 and he didnt use any of it up.. he gave it to his brother who was in hong kong. His brother came up in canada and he had a big house with his family. He started his own business (with the left over money) and he wasnt very successful. He was really stressed out and worked 12 hours a day, sometimes more. He was the head chef of the restaurant he just opened. Finally they decided to go back to Hong Kong and not a lot of money was left. The 1 million bucks was used up except for the money they used to buy the house. THey sold the house for around $500,000 and kept the money...

poor guy that actually won.. he didnt get any money... His brother took it all... he gave it all to him :)

just makes me wonder.. how many people would give someone $1,000,000?... the guy that won the lottery didnt even use the money he won to pay off his morgages and his debt

  6. Not me.  I almost won though!  The winning ticket had only 5 more correct numbers than I did.

I bought my last lotto ticket in 1993.  Since I didn't win, I decided 'What the h**l?' and haven't bought one since.

Instead, I put money into my deferred compensation fund.  A much better deal.
