Or what Caesar must've felt and thought when it was Brutus' turn to stab him? Sometimes -le sigh- I wonder....

  1. Of course, a little disappointed but He understand it because it was part of God's plan for us.

  2. Nowadays he would have dropped him from "HIS FIVE"

    k

  3. Ceasar and Brutus I can understand because they where best of friends. SOme scholars even said they where too close of friends. Too greek if you know what I mean, which was common practice for the romans. It must have been awful. I think that betrayal probably hurt more than all of the other stabs combined.

Now the Jesus version is up to debate. The thing is did Jesus knew that he was going to be betrayed. There are accounts that say that he knew one of them will betray him. He even said so himself so, it was no surprise from that point of view. Then there is the thing about him being a God so it could be that he knew way in advance who how and when and there are some people that claim to have some biblical proof about this. To top it off there is also the Gospel of Judas. It mainly said that Judas was the right hand of Jesus and that his betrayal was part of a greater plan. That Jesus asked him to turn him in.

The thing about Jesus Betrayal is that it is because of this betrayal that Christianity exist. Christianity is greatly based on Jesus sacrifice for humanity. If this was part of the greater plan then was it really a betrayal. I mean, if The all mighty himself comes down from heaven and tells you than in order for great things to happen you have to play this small part wouldn't you do it. How can it be betrayal if God is asking you personally? I mean is all debatable. You can argue either way.

  4. Sadness, angst, anger, confusion, most assuredly disappointment... I think Caesar's feelings were probably a bit different from Jesus's since, I am pretty sure Jesus knew it was coming anyways (he did say that one of his apostles would betray him!).

  5. pissed off i'll bet

  6. Jesus feels the same when we turn our backs on him and betray everything he teaches us in the bible and in our lives.  Sit down, say a prayer, and be grateful for everyday you have on this earth.  And in turn, treat others as you'd have them treat you.  The golden rule.
