Have you ever wondered if you look different to other people than you do to yourself in the mirror/pictures?

Thought people would think I was crazy lol, this thought just hit me last night.

yes...maybe it's like when you hear your own voice and you think is weird but the others say "you sound normal to me"

Yeah , often wondered about that myself. I think we actually SEE the same image , but our perception and what is focused on, ex. eye color ,physique ,clothing , is what stands out to others ,as their focus is not the same as our own. We may focus on hair length , skin color and texture, etc.

omg yes! that happens to me all the time..its as if your a different person or something. or that you are imagining wat you look like when you look in the mirror.

though mirrors are accurate - but it's the viewer who is biased and focuses on certain features while ignoring or failing to notice other characteristics

we do look different in the mirror than in the pictures, because of perception and how our brain looks out from the eyes

yep. i don't look exactly the same in my pictures or in the mirror. there are times that i think i look good but sometimes i look ugly. i dunno if other people see me as that too
