What i mean basically is this..

Who decided that grass be called grass?,green called green?.

Dictionary with words?.

Colours being red,green,yellow etc,etc.

Who decided that what we read are words?

Or food, who decided what we eat is callled food,or even what we do to intake food be called eating?.

This must have been some wise guy,or more probably a woman, who had all this knowledge, and its what we now use as a template for life.

Also, who decided and put all the knowledge we get from years of study into books and who was there to teach them?.

Educationary evolution couldnt have started by one smart **s getting up one morning and thinking,"oh, today i will produce education and knowledge for the world".

Where did they get their knowledge or books?.lol

Just a thought, and its a question i know many people do ask about who decided what is what etc.

  1. Whenever we come into contact with other countries whether it be through trading, traveling, or even during times of war, we encounter new words or sayings that somehow end up being used in the English Language.

Many words in the English language have their roots in Olde English or other old languages, or in the Latin language(Latin words account for approximately half the modern English vocabulary). And since most of the words in the English language are derived from three languages I mentioned above, the only way to get to the bottom of where "our" words come from is by taking a look at where those languages come from.

  2. It's just how they formed over thousands and thousands of years.

We started off making just noises. Then different kinds of noises for different things. New noises were created to mean new things that hadn't been encountered before and so on and so forth. Eventually we evolved so that we were able to make words with our mouths and make lots more different noises.

The first humans would've had noises for things like grass but probably didn't worry too much about the colour of it until much later.

The noises became basic words, new basic words were invented but probably had several meanings. Eventually, the language became more complex and the cycle repeated itself and our language is still evolving.

It wasn't really a conscious thought that someone decided they were going to name something grass or green. They probably used the same noise or word for both until the language evolved further.

  3. start researching linguistics - it is a fascinating study.

For example the Basque language (Euskera) is so old that its word for knife translates "stone that cuts"
