Sometimes when i would, say , be eating lunch and i lift my back up theres this sharp pain in the middle of my back. Same for when I bend down for more then 20 seconds.

When I trot it hurts a bit and the lower part of my back hurts.

Did i get this pain because of my trotting and the way i was sitting and the way my back was?

Did this happen to you when you were trotting?

  1. That sounds like somethin in your spine or somthing-no i dont think its the trotting-i would ask your doctor first before thinkin go of that

  2. it might help to try and get a bcak pop

  3. Don't worry, it is probably something like a pinched nerve. Get to the physio or a chiropractor and get yourself checked out.

You'll be as right as rain in a few weeks!!!

    Good luck!

  4. how old is your saddle

  5. I would go to the doctors just to have it checked...Gallbladder would be my guess to...My sister just had hers removed a couple of days ago, she to had pain in the same area.

  6. No that has not happened to me.  I don't think that horse back riding has anything to do with your pain...it sounds  like you may have a gall bladder problem

  7. Maybe you should see a chiropractor. Dont go to a regular one though! Go to an upper cervical one. They can work miracles on you and it doesn't even hurt! Search upper cervical centers on yahoo or google and get it checked out! Hope I helped!!!

  8. no but it has happened in my feet not back.

  9. If you are experiencing pain like this, you need to see a doctor. I agree with the first answerer, you sound like you have more problems than simple back pain. I don't want to speculate on what they might be- I am a coder, not a doctor, and we are not allowed to diagnose people.

  10. Sounds an awful lot like gastric reflux.

The acid in your stomach is coming back up into your esophagus, where it burns.  For some reason I've never figured out, in lots of people this is expressed as pain right in the middle of the back.

Since you get it when you're eating, that points to digestion.  You get it when you bend over, which is when it's easier for the acid to come back up.

And when you're trotting, the acid in your stomach is sloshing up and down.

Yes, this has all happened to me, and it was reflux.

Try taking a couple of Tums when you feel the pain.  If that helps, it's probably reflux.  You might want to consult your doctor to see if you need a preventive treatment (I do).

    Strange...  but true!

  11. that happened to me when i was healing after breaking my tailbone. Go to a chiropractor. I put so many things like that off and i am in alot of pain now. I have the back of like an 80 year old.
