  1. They are called "red spider mites, two spotted mites or spider mites" (depending on where you're from...) [  Tenuipalpidaee sp and Tetranychus sp] and can be a major pain in the ars when it comes to looking after your trees and plants...

    You can eradicate them with most insecticides and powders (best used together - spray the plant, dust the base) available from most gardening stores.

    But if you don't want to use chemicals...

    A few drops of detergent and vegetable oil in your water mister.

    Or collect a lot of ladybirds and set them on the case!

    I've always found that spray and dust works best for my bonsai, however.

    Separate your plants, if you can, to ensure they don't spread. Even though plants and trees tend to thrive better when grouped together a little...

    But they won't if they're infested!
