  11. Yes I have. The meaning of life is to love everyone and make the most of every day. I have accepted Jesus as my personal Savior and now life has full meaning and I see love in a new better way and life as He intended it to be. You can live a life in fullness when you are a Christian. It is not a perfect world but we can deal with it when things happen and when we are alone and need someone. He is always loving and there for us ALL the time.

  12.     Lord, make me an instrument of Thy peace;

        where there is hatred, let me sow love;

        where there is injury, pardon;

        where there is doubt, faith;

        where there is despair, hope;

        where there is darkness, light;

        and where there is sadness, joy.

        O Divine Master,

        grant that I may not so much seek to be consoled as to console;

        to be understood, as to understand;

        to be loved, as to love;

        for it is in giving that we receive,

        it is in pardoning that we are pardoned,

        and it is in dying that we are born to Eternal Life.

  13. The meaning of Life is practical evolution of the self inside. The soul or self is imprisoned  in the cage called body and get disillusioned  due to body consciousness and ego. It is  akin to the silk worm which winds its own shell around and  ultimately perishes. We are no better than the silk worm. Though we possess discrimination and intellect  we follow the dictates of the senses and the mind and get deeply buried  in the mundane existence. We are not aware how to extricate from these imaginary bonds. Relinquishing attachment and sacrificing nature will set us free.

  14. lmao meaning of life... 15. yes it is love and being loved

  16. For me the meaning of life is to live one full of purpose, that will give it meaning.  In everything I try to do, I look to make it have meaning and purpose.  It can be in relatiionships, work, play, children and how I respond to a question.  For me, that gives life meaning.

    "Life should not be measured by the amount of breathes we take, but rather by the moments that take our breath away."

  18. The answer to that is as different as opinions are.

    Life is only to be given, not taken.

    Shared with and not Held back.

    Loved and to be Loved.

    To live each Day as though it was our last.

    Make each Day better than Yesterday.

    Accept what is and work to change what You can

  19. Life has no "meaning", and does not need one...

    Does death have a meaning? No! It's just a state of matter.  No different than life...

    Ross (above)- Yeah, you're an "instrument" alright! LOL!

  20. The question is the most important one ever raised by any thinking human being.

    Unfortunately, this most important question does not have any fixed answer..... everyone has his own idea and opinion which itself keeps changing as life goes on. Does that mean there is no true meaning to life, because anything true can not keep changing?

    Considering all the factors, I have come to two conclusions.

    Firstly, it is due to our ego and tendency to give too much importance to ourselves that we keep looking for some 'grand' meaning in our life. Why can't we accept whatever purposes we do feel like striving for as the meaning for the time being? Why can't life have as many different meanings as there are serious purposes worth pursuing? Why the meaning has to be the same for everyone, as though life is larger than the individual? To me, I am the one who must decide what meaning I want to give my life and I need not search for it elsewhere.... my own life tells me what I need to work for. In the ultimate analysis, my most consistent purpose is as simple as being happy on a stable and lasting basis.

    Secondly, life is really meant for living, isn't it? If we do not live our life, can we call it our life? What does living mean? To me, living means not to be stagnant, and rather to be changing and moving continuously in order to deepen and widen the experience I accumulate. Otherwise, one may not feel as though the life has been lived fully and completely.

    If you examine the above two conclusions I draw, they seem to conflict with each other to quite an extent....... one talks of stability and peace and the other seeks change and variety...... I have realized this apparent conflict and come to the ultimate conclusion that we need to strike a balance....... in my view, it is this continuous effort towards balance on a dynamic basis that provides the true meaning to life..... in fact dynamic balance is the topmost principle of this whole Universe of which our life too is after all a part. In my personal capacity, the way I try to attain this dynamic balance is to keep my mind all the time engaged in lateral thinking, in looking for the other side of everything, in trying to get to totality rather than to be biased, close-minded and misled by partiality or apparent reality.

    Hope this will give rise to a few new thoughts of your own on this most important issue.

  21. ...always enjoying life on the road to a comfortable ending, thank you...

    ...enjoy your weekend...
