I donate old mobile phones (less the sim card) for recycling.

The British Conservation Trust Volunteers uses the proceeds to support local volunteers, plant trees, protect wildlife and improve footpaths.

Email for a phone mailing envelope: information@btcv.org.uk

  3. in the US i give mine to the local fire or police departments and they give them to low income senior citizens and the disabled because the 911 funcion still works even through the phone is not activated. in some areas of the country other agency's or organisations do the same thing.

this lets seniors and the disabled get help if they are not able to get to a regular phone.

walmart , phones go to military men and women.

  7. Two ways that I know of is to recycle by donating to a woman's shelter to be reprogrammed for emergency calls by women in trouble, usually of the domestic kind.  Most mobile phone vendors offer this service, I think.  Recently I found a new spot that I like - donate to the soldiers overseas.  They are able to reprogram them for the soldiers so they can call home.  Either way, be sure to delete all your friends' telephone numbers!  As far as the actual telephone number of the phone, the donation service will delete all that when they program the phones.  They probably do the rest as well, but just to be safe..........!

  8. I bring them to "It's a Grind" at Cortaro and I-10 in the WalMart shopping plaza - they donate them to the Cel Phones for Soldiers program. Also any Alltel location will recycle them also

  9. I know that I can donate them to the local police department so that they can give them to people if they need help. Also, I know that there are various ways for one to get a whole community to recycle their phones (found via the internet). And the last guess I would have is giving it to the any mobile phone distributer (i.e. Verizon).

  10. Donate to a local charity  to raise funds for important research on WOUND AND BURN HEALING,SCAR PREVENTION AND SKIN CANCER PREVENTION  in particular ,called RAFT they are based at Mount Vernon Hospital Northwood. for details see RAFT.AC.UK
