  2. just practice and you may get better. Try and play agaist someone who is really good to test how good you are.

  3. Practice.  The more you play, the consistent you will become.

  4. well...i can give a tip... try and keep ur head steady when potting the ball...moving ur head tends to result in less accuracy in ur pot....well...like one of the previous answers its better for u to go and consult snoooker professionals as they know the ways and means of the game and also read up and watch the game u can learn a thing or two...cause tips given here might be stuff u already know..try and identify a specific problem in ur game..k

  5. It always amuses me how people make general statements like "just practice", "practice a lot", "play a lot", etc.  I know they mean well.  Still, almost nobody ever gives any solid advice about "how" or "what" to practice.  You might pick up a thing or two by just playing a lot, but that's extremely inefficient and most likely you're just going to be reinforcing bad habits.  Playing against "better" players is fine and good to work on your competitive edge, but learning from them can be a double-edged sword.  You might pick up some good tips from a skilled player, but you're taking a chance that they are just showing you what works for them.  It may not work for you.  Being a good player and being a good teacher don't always go hand in hand.  You should look into getting lessons from a qualified instructor.  A good instructor will work with you and your natural abilities, without ego factoring into it.  To supplement instruction, there are many good books on the subject.  Now, armed with proper knowledge, feel free to practice as much as you can.  M.D.-BCA Instructor/Referee.

  6. well ....

First of all, it is very good to watch proffessionals play. It`s very useful because you get used to their techniques and their style. It helps a lot. You can learn a whole new things from just watching snooker games.

What is more, you have to practise a lot. Think about situations that you couldn`t work with, or things that you think they`re tough, and simulate them. Practise untl everything turns out just as it should be.

Moreover, it wouldn`t be such a bad idea to ask someone to help you improve your skills. Of course, someone that knows how to play real snooker. He/She can help you to find out some things you didn`t know before, and teach you the right way of playing.

These are pretty much it ! I hope i helped you ! And goodluck with the snooker ! :D

  7. Visit this website it tells you how to control the cue ball which is very important if you want to improve at snooker:

Also if you go to this link, you can watch tips from Ronnie O'Sullivan:

  8. Well first and foremost you need to quit cursing God. If you can do that you may become better at many things. The second thing you need to do only shoot on 9' tables. I see many young players have real problems due to the fact they are playing on a 7 or 8' bar table then can't make the adjustment going to a 9' snooker table. Follow through is critical, you need to focus not just on the impact of the cue ball, but the path of each ball all the way through into the pocket. The best way to practice this may seem boring but is quite effective. Set your cue ball half way between the width of the rails. Shoot against the rail until you can make your cue ball come back in directly straight back to your cue. Then practice the full length of the table. If you can't manage to hit the cue ball straight at a medium speed and keep it in a straightline, you shouldn't even be attepmting Snooker. Also on a good snooker table the pockets will be less wide as a bar room table.

So to make a long stroy short, practice on a regulation table, andfollow through.

  9. practice makes perfect but nobody is perfect

  10. I am a quite good snooker player. The best tip I can offer is ALWAYS follow through your shot with the cue. Keep your head down and be steady on your feet.
