The season just opened here so I've been unsuccessful as yet.    I believe that keeping a species from over populating its  local area and then dieing a long slow death of starvation by culling some of the herd through hunting quotas is indeed a form of conservation.   And by the way I have even caught one with my bare hands.    Of course,  we could do away with hunting and then the nice people who call hunters " sickos and barbarians"   can hit them with their cars.

Nope, but I hope to. Saw one this morning, but let it go by hoping to see a bigger one later.  Hopefully I do not regret that later.

And to those of you that do not like a "hunting" question in the conservation category, hunting is part of responsible conservation.

What are you hillbilly hunters doing on the conservation link? Try catching the deer with your own two hands, then we will see how tough you are!!! Pathetic.

There is a hunting category, you know.

I've photographed a number of deer this season, several passing through camp while a group of young white males took their crossbows out in search of prey.

And I just watched "Bambi" with the grandson yesterday.  People don't come off so good in that one.  Sloppy hunters shoot at anything that moves and burn down the forest.  I hope you're a more conscientious hunter than that lot.

The firearm season hasn't opened here yet and I am not a bow hunter. I have been scouting two big bucks. Ask the same question in a month.

No cant afford to take time off to go this year but it sure would help to put meat on the table  being that beef is doubling in price because there using the corn for fuel. Whats the difference you get meat from a cow or a dear . A meat eater is a meat eater . Do you guys think about that cow when your at McDonald's
