  1. Yes. It was a garden snake though. It hurt like h**l and because of the pain I fainted. The dang thing would not let go of my arm. I was 8 and saw it and wanted as a pet my uncle had a python that I held so I thought it was Artie the python(lol). My mom was around the corner and heard me scream and all she saw was a part of the snake and she thought it was a water mocassin since I fainted and was unconsious. I ended up in an ambulance 10 minutes later. My mom said she tryed sucking the venom out but hey it was not posionous. Weird but yah that was in Florida.

  3. Yes. But then again you spend any amount of time working with or keeping any animal odds are you will get bitten.

  4. no but my uncle has

  5. Yes, and the story is funny.  My friends and I were in a park and we saw a garter snake so we caught it, as I was holding it the little guy was just chewing the c**p out of my hand, it was extremely funny and didn't hurt at all.  After showing him(or her I thought it rude to check) to all the little kids and telling them about how they eat bugs and stuff we let it go in a safe spot.  All in all it was a fun experience but probably not for the snake!

  6. I've been handling snakes since I was 7 and been bitten a few times. It really is a negligible experience since most didn't break the skin and if they did, it didn't bleed very long and was barely noticeable the next day. That only goes for non-venomous snakes. I knew one guy who was bitten by a venomous pit viper trying to handle it. His hand doubled in size within about 20 minutes, he lost partial use of 2 fingers and was very very sick for a few days. Unless the snake is venomous, a bite really isn't anything to worry over, the worst I've ever had was from my own pet boa and it was my fault for being lazy and feeding her in her cage instead of taking her out and feeding her in a separate enclosure. It hurt and bled for a few minutes but wasn't sore and didn't cause any problems.

  7. Yes many times. What do you want to know?

  8. nope. but if i would ever own one i wpuld want to so i can get over that fear.
