  1. i guess cuz eid follows it and its something that is done every year?

    idk,

  2. they should have called it the Eid section i guess

  3. i have no idea y it is in holidays !!

  4. why dont haters leave this section?

  5. Beats me.  Skipping meals is not my idea of a holiday; actually it sounds more like work.

  6. Because it is considered as a Holy Feast to Muslims.

  7. I know some people usually take holidays so they can fast...I know sad...Ramadan for holiday.

  8. 'Well, let's see..... the word "holiday" comes from "holy day" and Ramadan is indeed holy, a whole holy month in fact. And it leads up to Eid, a holy day and also a holiday. So, it does make sense, doesn't it.

    Or if not, do you have a better suggestion where they should put it?

  9. WOW HOW BRILLIANT YOU ARE....... excepp it is a holiday, so something else must have occuored to you!!

    omg like u r so like omg!!

    * sigh

  10. Even Eid isn't a holiday here. We got told of last year for taking days off during eid.

  11. They also have listed Earth Day, St. Patrick's Day and Valentine's Day but I don't know anyone that gets those days off.

  12. Well, not all holidays get a day off. In American English the word holiday means more like "day of observance" whereas in England & Australia the word holiday can mean what we in the states call "vacation," that is, taking time off work and/or traveling. I'm not sure about Canada.

    At any rate, my guess would be because it's a holiday or religious observance that most people would want to discuss or have questions about.

  13. Better here than not here at all!

  14. i actually thought about that too! omg! hahaha! i was like it's just our holy month but eid is our holiday not ramadan. maybe because of hajj during this month.
