Have you had Lasik Vision Surgery?

How well did it work? How much did it cost? What side effects did you have? Was it worth it? ~~ I'm considering having it done, and I want to know from someone who has had it done, what to expect. Any advice is appreciated.

It worked great. It is $3,950 but well worth it. My mom had it done three years ago. She works for an ophthalmologist who specializes in Laser Vision correction. She has worked with him for 13 years(ten when she had it done). She always says she wishes she would have done it earlier. She recommends NOT to rub your eyes when you get it done. They will do each eye at a different time, two weeks after the first. You will have pain but it will go away. Also, you will have to wear funny eye goggles at night for the first few weeks. Good Luck and you will not forget it. Oh, and the only thing is after you need to put alot of eye drops in because it dries out your eyes.

I can't wait to get it done myself. I have to wait until I am older though. :-(
