  1. some restaurants add the gratuity to the bill to ensure that their waitstaff don't get screwed by ungrateful customers that stiff (don't leave a tip) the waiters/waitresses.  Also, if it's more than 6 or 8 people, they'll automatically add the tip.  It usually says it in fine print somewhere on the menu.  Get over it, you should leave a tip.  If you have a problem with the server and think they don't deserve the tip......ask to speak to the manager immediately.  They're there for YOU, the customer.  If they don't know that something's wrong, then they don't know that it needs fixing.


  2. i agree with the guy above completely in fact its only 15% which is still a S****y tip !!! so don't complain the fact of the matter is when you step through a door into a restaurant you have agreed your to lazy to do the work and your willing to pay someone else to do it and theres nothing wrong with that but it also means you agree to leave a decent tip
