If you have ever had an anxiety or panic attack and found a way of getting out of it, please tell me how you did it. I do not suffer chronically from them, but I do get them and don't really know how to handle them, the not been able to breathe, the strange feelings of losing it etc. I have tried to talk to myself to calm down and to do deep breathing, but it doesn't really help. If you have any constructive methods, I would be very grateful.

  1. I get them when im really stressed out, the only thing that i have found to help is that i get on the phone with someone, have them talk to you about anything except the fact that you are having a panic attack. have them tell you a funny story or watch a funny movie, these are the only things that are distracting enough to help get me through, i hope that it will help you also.

just find something distracting to do until the panic attack passes. take deep breathes while doing this also.

  2. You have to control your thoughts. You have to state what is TRUE, what you want to happen, and the 1st,2nd and 3rds steps to acheive what you want. And out loud to your self." What IS true is that I am out side in the quad. What is true is that I have a class in 15 minutes. What is true is that I know the way to get to my class, What is true is that I have an assigned seat waiting for me in that class. What is true is that I can learn just as well as anyone else. etc. Then execute. Good Luck

  3. Hello,

I suffered for years with debilitating anxiety attacks along with their devastating side effects.  As more time went by, years, they seemed to get worse and worse.  You know, it even took me years to figure out I was experiencing these frightening symptoms from anxiety.

I thought certainly something else must be wrong with me based on all of the strange and extremely scary symptoms I experienced.  As more time went by, the stress patterns became more and more embedded in my physiology.

I never knew how stress could cause so much dysfunction in the human body. Well, after I figured out I had severe anxiety, I went to a Naturopathic Medical Doctor and explained clearly what was happening to me.

The reason I was able to explain so clearly what was going on in my body, is because of the phenomenal book by Claire Weekes, Hope And Help For Your Nerves.  It helped give me the easy to understand explanation as to the TRICKS that your nerves can play in the human body.

Dr. Weekes has helped MILLIONS with her books and audio programs to overcome their anxiety attacks and get back to their real selves again.

She must have personally experienced anxiety herself, based on her explanations of what one goes through while experiencing panic and anxiety attacks.

Dr. Claire Weekes is a master at reassuring her readers that there is nothing wrong with them.

Her step by step, self help methods, teach one to regain control over their state of mind. She will simply teach you how to cope with feelings of fear and dread. Also, unlike any other, she will help you thoroughly understand the many physical symptoms which can be caused from overtaxed nerves.

Yes, she simply explains how your FEAR of the symptoms from your overly tired nerves, feeds this cycle of anxiety.  She will help you break this cycle through her easy to follow approach.  I highly recommend  this book - Hope And Help For Your Nerves.  It is only a few dollars.

I am now completely anxiety attack free, with no medication needed.  Please go to http://www.healthbanquet.com/anxiety-hop... for the complete story and all of the steps I took to overcome my life compromising anxiety.

I am happy and full of energy again.  It is hard to believe the nightmare that I lived daily for years is no longer part of my life.  It is hard to believe I was ever in that kind of unsettling situation.  I am back to the real me again.

I thank God every day for breaking free of the shackles of anxiety.  Claire Weekes's book should easily get you on the healing path to help you banish your anxiety.

If I overcame this SEVERE case of anxiety that had plagued me for years, I believe you can too.
