  1. I actually prefer the mobile groomer.  My groomer has a big truck, so doing my goldens is no problem for her.  In fact, one of them lies on a towel on the floor while the other is done (she doesn't like to be separated from her buddy so my groomer does this for her).  My dogs don't have to be crated while waiting to be picked up or exposed to other animals, so there's less stress for them. I don't have to drop them off and pick them up.  And she's best and nicest groomer in town.  I love the mobile groomer!!!!

  2. My boys are too big for mobile dog washes... which makes me SO mad. I think they should be better equipped to deal with dogs of all sizes. Not just yappy little ones.

  3. :o)

I answered this in your last question.

Yes, I had a bad experience.

They ran out of water, didn't have a hose to hook into my water so I had to drag out my hose, didn't use enough water or have enough skill to actually get the dog clean.

My feeling was they were unused to large breed, hairy dogs and should have restricted themselves to short coated and/or small breeds of dogs.

  4. Nope- I wash them myself- I am too much of a worry wart to let some one else wash my dog- , Plus its fun for us..ok maybe just me- But I sing songs and tell them how pretty they are- Plus thats a perfect time to work on my sit's and stays.. So I like to do it myself

  5. We used one once in NJ when we had our Maltese. IT worked out very well for us (busy schedules and i was too young to drive) and our dog loved the groomer. The only problem i can think of is if your dog doesn't like cars.

Sometime's being in a car can stress a dog out, and being GROOMED in a car.... the woman that drove/groomed our dog had scars from dogs that bit her. But if your dog doesn't mind cars and doesn't mind grooming, i think it's a good option for people who don't necessarily have the time to drop a dog off and pick it up a few hours later.

  6. I haven't, but a friend has ordered them to wash her dogs, and her dogs were fine, until they started scratching and itching! Yeah! The mobile dog grooming groomer missed some left-over fur from other dogs, and her dogs started scratching so much, that there were patches of fur coming off of their bodies! It sucked! I felt sooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooo bad for those dogs!!!
