Have you had any problems with PIPEX?

Question

I used them for web hosting and they pretended not to receive my TWO cancellation notices. They were recently featured on BBC's Watchdog for complaints they were switching peoples phone service without their consent and I've heard people have had multiple problems with their broadband service. Please share your bad experiences

My fella and I left Pipex in November last year to move to a cheaper deal.  We gave them a month's notice, as per the contract terms, and moved to our new company, Talk Talk.  Our phone and broadband were moved and we waited for our final Pipex bill.  They kept on billing us for November, December and January's broadband usage, even though they acknowledge that our phone line has moved.  They say the broadband is with them, even though there has been no usage for the last 3 months.  They have agreed to stop any further bills, but still want us to pay for the 3 months since the account was transferred from them.  We`re still arguing with them.

This also comes with a phone line.  The reason that it is so cheap is there is NO BT LINE RENTAL to pay on top of the cost of the broadband (which is really cheap anyway) and they also give away unlimited free calls on some packages - WELL WORTH A LOOK!

Had them for 3 years  - no problems at all with the broadband. Billing seems to be the problem; as I found that payments had stopped for 9 months, although I still had the service. My bank details had "disappeared" from my account info.

Yep billing is the problem with bunch of jokers. I stopped their service and moved to another BB supplier. They were still taking money from my account AFTER I stopped it. They took three months out and it took me a further FIVE months of constant 'phone calls to get it back.

Recommend Pipex ? Not a chance !
