  1. My baby does the same thing. He's a complete night owl though! He starts moving a lot about 7-8pm and continues to move all night. My boyfriend says he feels him move when he comes to bed at about 1am!! I sure hope he snaps out of it once he's born!!

  2. I am 23 weeks pregnant and have the exact same thing.  My baby is crazy between 9pm and 1am, but it's rarely noticeable during the day.  I read that it could have something to do with your blood sugar levels declining later in the day or the fact that when you are most active, your baby is sleeping and when you are resting, your baby is most active.

  3. Yeah i barely feel him during the day a kick here and there and then at night he goes crazy. been this way since 22 weeks and I am now 26 weeks.

  4. very common no need to worry!...my son was a rock star around 11pm and 5am! people even told me if thats his schedule in your belly he may have the schedule when he's born TOTALLY NOT TRUE! best of luck & God bless!

  5. Yes.

I asked my doctor and he gave me the answer I thought - the rocking motion of walking around puts them to sleep. Furthermore, the mother's blood glucose level drops at night - most babies are most active between 9pm and 1am because of this! Of course, there are always exceptions but you are just like me :)

  6. This happened during my whole pregnancy starting around the same week you are.  I think during the day we are up walking more and that sort of rocks the baby to sleep or either we aren't as aware of it during the day.  At night when you are lying still they are awake, and that doesnt change after the baby gets here!  LOL.

  7. Yes, my little girl doesn't move that often during the day. There is the odd time she is bouncing around through out the day, but that is very seldom. In the evening she is wide open, like it doesn't stop until 3-4 the morning.

It's been like this since I started feeling movements at about 17 weeks and am now 30 weeks. Not sure why though :))

good luck with the rest of your pregnancy

  8. When you are walking around and stuff during the day it actually helps to "rock" the baby to sleep. When night time comes and you are not moving is when the baby is waking up. I know it sounds weird, but I swear it is true. By the way I love the name. I have a daughter named Ashleigh

  9. i'm almost 39 weeks and my daughter is just like this... has been for months..its because when your up during the day moving around it rocks your little one to sleep and when your lying down or resting later at night the rocking stops so the baby is woken up and wants to play.. i have also heard that a baby's sleep habits in the womb show how they will be outside the womb and for both our sakes lets hope that is not true and they sleep all night lol good luck and congrats!!!
