okay i had us cable like forever and then we switched to direct tv and i think that direct tv is the best but now we are getting us cable again and i dont no what to do i absoutly hate us cable it sucks

I went from Direct Tv to Cable when I moved, not a big deal. You'll get used to it.

Depending on your area, look into digital cable.

It has basically the same features as DirectTV.

I have used both now and I am more of a fan of digital cable.  The biggest reason is that if rains or if theres even a strong breeze, the satellite messes up.

Besides the hi def options I see very little difference between digital cable and satellite, besides how often the satellite messes up or I need to reset it.

do what you want if you like hate cable then stay with direct tv I like direct tv to I would never change back to Cable, My cable sucks becasue every time the electricity goes out then I loose the connection and it takes for ever to get it back.

me and my mom have cable tv plus she has a digital cable box that she gets from comcast sometimes i watch bbc america or sometimes the tudors and robin hood.
