Have you heard about Oxybenzone ?

i just bought a sun screen that containts OXYBENZONE, this is what i founded about it

Years ago the federal government banned the use of benzene because it's carcinogenic (causes cancer).  So some manufacturers altered the chemical make-up of benzene and changed the name to "benzone" which the federal government accepted.  But benzone is still a derivitive of benzene and is still highly carcinogenic.  Anything with the name "benzone" in it is not good for you (i.e., "oxybenzone") and is one of the worst ingredients you can put on your skin.  What you put on your skin is absorbed into your body, and if it's an ingredient that the body doesn't naturally recognize, then your organs cannot properly process it.  That's how cancers appear.

    So my recommendation is to not purchase or use any products that have the word "benzone" included in the ingredients, even if it's part of another word, like "oxybenzone."  Better safe than sorry ... stay away from it.
