  1. Yes I will watch.  You never know maybe the will convince me that little green men are real, but I doubt it   It should be fun either way.

  2. There are actually two shows called UFO Hunters premiering in a couple of weeks. One is the History Channels version but there is on Sci-fi which is a spin off of their popular Ghost Hunters program.

1)UFO Hunters is an American science fiction documentary television series which premiers on Sci Fi Channel on February 6, 2008. In this new series from the creators of Ghost Hunters, ufologists use cutting-edge technology to investigate claims of UFO sightings and otherworldly phenomena. Co-founders Oliver Kemenczky and Ted Davis of the New York Strange Phenomena Investigators (NY-SPI), along with researcher/investigator Dennis Anderson, will investigate, review and reveal their findings after each investigation. UFO Hunters is executive-produced by Emmy Award winner Craig Piligian and Tom Thayer.

2)UFO Hunters is an American science fiction documentary television series which premiers on The History Channel on February 6, 2008. Are we alone in the universe? The question has always haunted humankind. Incidents involving UFOs and extraterrestrial life have been reported throughout history. UFO HUNTERS™, a new series on The History Channel, follows a group of experts as they subject some of history’s most intriguing UFO accounts, and the evidence surrounding them, to exhaustive scrutiny in an effort to uncover the actual facts. The series is a spinoff from the network’s hit program “UFO HUNTERS” which premiered in 2005. The new HD series UFO HUNTERS premieres Wednesdays at 10:00 p.m. ET/PT on The History Channel®.

  3. Listen to you Denie.  Throwing around terms like MUFON like a pro.  I'm so proud.

A show about a team that investigates UFO reports in a documentary format?  Where on Earth did they get that idea? :-)

I think UFOs are a find subject for investigation.  I just hope they conduct themselves in an honest and forthright fashion.  Oh, wait, this is TV.  Nevermind.

  4. I have seen some promos. I don't get Sci-Fi but I do get the History channel so I will watch it.

It will be interesting to see what groups they do include (if any) in the show. It would certainly be interesting to see  USAF, NASA, MUFON, and CUFOS all comment on cases. As opposed to say two electricians (the plumbers slot is filled) run around and investigate UFOs. Not to say that amateurs can't contribute in  a meaningful substantial way to any field of science just seems like many don't seek out the help of science. Perhaps because some people give the impression that science is opposed to investigating some areas of knowledge.

  5. Wed night 30 Jan. I won't miss it. Never seen a UFO, but it sounds like fun. Thanks for the 'heads up'.

  6. Yes

  7. Yes,I'm gonna watch it.I love shows like that and I'm very interested in the possibility of life on other planets.

I heard that this new series from the creators of Ghost Hunters and features ufologists use cutting-edge technology to investigate claims of UFO sightings and otherworldly phenomena.I love stuff like that!

  8. I haven't heard about it, but I don't have a television set.  I won't be watching it.

I prefer to search for my information sources on the web, then search for their sources, as far backward as I can dig.  The declassified CIA and National Security Agency documents usually end up being a means of discovering where the liars and misinformation axe-to-grinders are hiding.

There's so much fluff to be separated from the truth, so much sensationalizing, and such a huge body of opinion with no foundation in solid evidence I don't think I could enjoy watching it being proliferated on television.  Too many people see tv programs and seem to believe they're true.

It's a bit depressing, watching the spinoffs from those programs show up on YQA as testimonies of alarm.
